REMOTE ACCESS TO LANDON E-MAIL (provided by Mr. Zimmer)

Landon also offers online instructions for setting up e-mail access at home.  Contact Mr. Ball or Mr. Fullerton in the media center. 

Connect to the Internet using your ISP (Comcast, AOL, EROLS, EarthLink, etc.).  Launch Outlook and configure the program as follows:

OUTLOOK SETUP: 

1.      Select the tools tab within Outlook

2.   Select E-mail Accounts

3.      Select Add a new e-mail account

4.   Follow the on-screen directions and use the following information to complete the process:

User name:  First_Lastname

E-mail: First_Lastname@landon.net

Incoming mail (POP3):  mail.landon.net

Outgoing (SMTP):   mail.landon.net 

User name:  First_Lastname

Password:  insert your Landon network password

Be sure to select "remember my password" so you don't have to log in each time

5.   Be sure that you have selected the 'direct connection' option from within Outlook (not 'dial-up').   Establish a connection using your standard ISP (AOL, EROLS, etc.) and then launch Outlook.

6.  Installation should be complete.  Enjoy!
